This site generates random walls each round. Below is the standard flow and how the controls map to it. Practice on the Play now page; habits live in Maze strategy.
Goal
Start at the entrance in the top-left corner. Move only to adjacent cells without a wall between them until you reach the exit flag in the bottom-right. Stepping on the exit ends the run.
Timer and steps
Timing starts on your first move. Elapsed time and step count stay in the header until you finish, then stats and local bests update in the side panel.
Controls
Use arrow keys on desktop. On phone, swipe on the maze in the direction you want to move. You cannot pass through walls or cut diagonally through corners.
Size presets
Pick Easy 9×9, Medium 15×15, Hard 25×25, or Impossible 35×35 in the side panel. Changing size regenerates walls; personal bests are tracked per preset.
Hint and Daily
Hint highlights a shortest path from your current cell to the exit. Daily loads today's fixed seed for the chosen size. New randomizes the walls.
Common questions
Can I backtrack?
Yes. Backtracking is allowed, but it adds steps and may slow your time.
Does Hint move for me?
No. Hint only draws a route—you still control every step.
Is the side-panel stats a medical test?
No. It is practice feedback, not a clinical assessment.
